Who are we?
Theta Tau is a co-ed professional engineering fraternity.
The fraternity at large promotes the social, academic, and professional
development of its members. Theta Tau is the oldest and largest professional
engineering fraternity in the United States and has a membership of men and
women who study engineering.
Our Purpose
The purpose of Theta Tau is to develop and maintain a high standard of
professional interest among its members, and to unite them in a
strong bond of fraternal fellowship.

For our Service
Our service projects create a unifying environment in Detroit for learning and personal
growth of our community and our members.
For our Profession
We develop and nurture engineers with strong communication, problem-solving,
collaboration, and leadership skills that we demonstrate in our profession,
our community, and in our lives.
For our Brotherhood
We forge lifelong bonds of fraternal friendship, a journey that develops and
delivers a network of lasting personal and professional relationships.
